Graham was just so-so about The Nice Guys. Chris thought Michael Moore's new film, Where to Invade Next, had some good insight but not his best film. *FILMS DISCUSSED: CAPTAIN AMERICA CIVIL WAR, INFERNO, INDEPENDENCE DAY, POINT BREAK* Chris and Graham welcome first time guest Josh Wolf. All three thought Civil War was awesome. Josh was amazed by the CG in both Civil War and Jungle Book. Graham saw the new Point Break on a plane and now wants to buy a GoPro. Chris saw a DVD of Kurosawa's Stray Dog from 1949. A couple more good DVDs and a big question mark about new Clooney film in theaters. Or jut see Civil War again. |

*FILMS DISCUSSED: KEANU, JUNGLE BOOK, MOTHERS DAY, BATMAN THE KILLING JOKE, SNOWDEN* Chris and Graham welcome first time guest Stephen Kramer Glickman in to the Nerd HQ. Chris liked Keanu. Graham and Stephen enjoyed Jungle Book even with some CG issues. Stephen explains why he loves watching horrible films like Mother's Day. Batman and Snowden trailers look interesting. Hilarious kickstarter comments, bad DVDs but who cares because this weekend we will all have a CIVIL WAR!!! This ep is the best reason to get relationship advice from a birthday clown. |

*FILMS DISCUSSED: THE JUNGLE BOOK, CRIMINAL, DEMOLITION, MAGNIFICENT SEVEN, X-MEN APOCALYPSE* Chris and Graham welcome first time guest Geoff Tate into the weight bench shed. Chris was surprised by The Jungle Book. Geoff had fun watching Criminal. Graham was glad he saw Demolition. Geoff is more excited by Magnificent Seven trailer than Chris and Graham. All three are unsure about new X-Men trailer. Odd choices on DVD. Some hilarious posts on Chris' Kickstarter and a funny movie about a cat in theaters. This episode is all about nuance. |

*FILMS DISCUSSED: EVERYBODY WANTS SOME, MILES AHEAD, GENERATION IRON* Chris and Graham welcome back CFN writer David Huntsberger. David talks about his new podcast Space Cave. Chris likes Linklater films but Everybody Wants Some had a few good moments but fell a little short. Graham loved Don Cheadle's Miles Davis biopic, Miles Ahead. David was drawn into the body building doc Generation Iron. NEW SEGMENT: Talking Trailers like Rogue One and Dr. Strange. One good DVD and some question marks in theaters. This ep will make you want to coach a baseball team as a fish. |

*FILMS DUSCUSSED: MIDNIGHT SPECIAL, THE INVITATION, MR. RIGHT* Chris and Graham welcome back CFN writer CJ Johnson. Graham really liked Midnight Special. Chris and CJ thoroughly enjoyed the indie thriller, The Invitation. CJ talks about a cool movie book by Illiana Douglas called, I Blame Dennis Hopper. CJ also found MR. Right to be good fun, although not perfect. Good Justice League DVD and dealers choice in theaters. Put this ep in a field and wait for the FBI. |
