Chris and Graham have 24 hours to save the world and their guest Mary Lynn Rajskub is going to help!  And talk about movies.  Chris was underwhelmed by Dark Shadows.  Mary Lynn liked Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.  Graham was perplexed by some fo the music choices in the indie film Hick.  Then Mary Lynn talks about the possibliity of a 24 film.  What working with Paul Thomas Anderson is like and Chris askes her about Sunshine Cleaning.  Some decent DVD choices this week and a Battleship of stupid in theaters.  Game on film nerds!

Chris and Graham welcome comic/podcaster Dan Gabriel into the Nerd HQ.  And then it's All AVENGERS!  Three Nerds talk about why they loved this blockbuster! Graham's new CD Palm Strike Dance Party is now in the Store!  Dan talks about his podcast The Best Medicine.  Dan reccomends a lesser known Richard Dreyfuss comedy from the 1980's.  DVDs, in theaters and much more!

Chris and Graham welcome the co-host of Who Charted? Kulap Vilaysack.  It's a fun filled show where they talk about why this weeks box office was so lame.  Graham was just so-so with The Raven, but thinks that Longfellow needs his own theme park.  Chris thought The Giant Mechanical Man was boring.  Kulap talks about Who Charted and what films she thinks are going to take the summer box office.  DVDs are not that great this week but AVEBGERS is HERE!!!  Nerd up bitches, 'cause this one is hot!

Viva Las Vegas!  Chris and Graham are joined by nerd writer Allan Havey in Sin City!  It is a themed episode where the boys discuss Allan's trip to the Turner Classic Movies festival.  Complete with some great old Hollywood stories.  Allan gives insight about some lesser known classic films and his CFN Guide to Movies chapter on war films.  It is a nerd-a-palooza for all things classic cinema!

Chris and Graham welcome back nerd writer, Dean Haglund.  Dean gives us updates on the most recent conspiracies, why he lives in Chris' garage and his kickstarter project.  Chris points out some small upsides to Three Stooges.  Dean loved Cabin in the Woods.  And Graham talks about a good doc, The Island President.  A couple of good DVDs and a upcoming weekend of some mostly dumb looking films.  Don't worry the NSA is listening...

Chris and Graham go on a tri-state killing spree...wait that's something else.  They welcome in Seinfeld writer, Fred Stoller.  Fred talks about his new kindle single, My Seinfeld Year, where he descripes writing on that show like the opposite of his favoritie year.  Chris liked Morgan Spurlock's Comic Con film but hoped for a little more.  Fred and Chris both liked God Bless America.  Fred gives his reasons for liking The Raid as well.  Also a weak showing for new DVDs and some interesting new releases.  It is a show that would make Art Vandelay very proud.    PRE-EMPTIVE CORRECTION:  Chris was right, there is a Slide in Star Chamber. Weirdo.

Chris and Graham talk about Wrath of the Titans and why it got beat at the box office by Hunger Games.  Graham wants everyone to join in a hockey fight and see Goon.  Chris really liked The Lorax despite it having a bad trailer which sparks a discussion about how much trailers have changed and why.  Some good DVDs and interesting choices for upcoming releases.

Fan favorite and Nerd writer Laura House returns to the Nerd cave.  Chris and Graham both liked the Hunger Games but wanted a better action director.  Laura really liked Jeff Who Lives at Home.  Graham thinks The Raid is a must see for martial art film fans.  Laura talks about her Rom Com chapter in the CFN book and why Joe vs The Volcano is a solid make out film.  Some good DVD's coming out and a roll of the dice for new releases.  It is a nerd-tastic piece of ear gold. (I know that doesn't make any sense.)

Chris and Graham welcome back Frank Conniff to enjoy a bench press and some gargolyes.  Frank talks about films and live shows for Cinematic Titanic.  Chris thought John Carter wasn't so bad.  Graham was bored with Jump Street and really lIked Being Flynn.  Frank enjoyed Game Change but wanted a little more.  Some good DVD's out and two good films in theaters this week.  This episode will make you taller and have more friends.

Very happy to welcome Sam Tripoli into the Nerd Cave.  Sam talks about his podcast, The Naughty Show and doing the LA Podcast Festival.  Chris liked parts of Detachment and was horrified at others.  Sam thinks if you are a fan of Tim and Eric on Adult Swim, you will like Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie.  Graham enjoyed Salmon Fishing in the Yemen.  Then the boys talk about some classic comedies and what films should be remade.  Book release show annoucement, DVDs, in theaters and more!  It is 100 times more Nerdy than before!
