It's long time friend but first time guest Wayne Federman talking films in the nerd HQ! Wayne tells us what a "Federman and out" is and why he did not like Cloud Atlas. Graham liked Hitchcock, but didn't love it. Chris thought A Dark Truth was directed by a 4 year old. Then Wayne talks about some of the films he's been in like the new Maria Bamford special! A bunch of DVDs this week and some interesting films in theaters. It's better than being a dumb married couple at a comedy show! |

Chris and Graham welcome back Fred Stoller into the Nerd HQ. Fred talks about the new film he wrote and starred in called, "Fred and Vinnie." Then Graham agrees with Mike Schmidt about Killing Me Softly. Fred and Graham both really liked Life of Pi. Chris liked Deadfall, despite a couple of missteps. Graham and Fred both enjoyed Silver Linings Playbook but weren't blown away. A couple of ok DVDs coming out and then buckle up for The Hobbit!! This is the episode that will make you bi-polar. |

Chris and Grahm are back with Mike Schmidt! Graham talks about doing shows Down Under and why Red Dawn was what you think it would be. Chris goes on a Twilight rampage. Mike thinks Killing Them Softly is a perfect film. Graham wants you to see Lincoln but be aready for some long Spielbergy scenes. Also Graham saw a good doc, Waiting for Surgarman, in Adelaide that is worth your time. Then more Dark Knight DVD talk and some ok looking films in the theaters this weekend. This show is better than a vegimite sandwhich. |

Chris and Graham welcome back the Smartest Man in the World, Greg Proops! Some nice talk about the LA Podfest, what working on Phantom Menace was like and then an all out film noir nerd con! A blistering pace is set for all three nerds, in this themed episode, to talk about how growing up in San Francisco influenced Greg's love affair with noir. They discuss which ones are classic and should be remade. Graham asks Greg to defend his dislike of Miller's Crossing and much much more! This ep is like a dame with a nose for trouble, but her sweet pipes keep you coming back for more until you go down for the dirt nap. |

Chris and Graham welcome The Stunt People, Eric Jacobus and Rebecca Ahn into the nerd HQ. They talk about their new film Death Grip (available in the CFN store) and why they made it. Along with what it takes to do fight choregraphy and the why the whole process of doing action films is more complex than regular films. Then all four nerd out over some of their favorite action films of all times. I'm sure someone will mention a film you haven't heard of! It's a martial arts/action film themed nerd-a-thon, so stretch out!! |

Welcome back Laura House! You light up the nerd cave with some hilarious talk about Skyfall. Graham liked it and Laura did as well but was a little put off by Javier Bardem's hair. Chris had a good time with his family at Wreck it Ralph. And Graham liked Flight a little mroe than Laura. Some Ok DVDs this week. And of course its Twilight the final part of the epic endiing finale that is the second part of the conclusion. Also Silver Linings Playbook looks good. This is some good ol nerdery for your ears! |

Feel the fun with Dean Haglund! Dean talks about his interview with Tom Hanks and Halle Berry that is on the CFN youtube page. And then a nice nerdy discussion about Cloud Atlas. All three really enjoyed the film and suggest that you see it well-rested. Then Graham goes into how they should of used the actual story about who discovered Mavericks rather than the Hollywood silliness of Chasing Mavericks. And the boys are a little hopeful that Disney will bring Star Wars back to its former glory. Chris, Graham and Dean are all fired up for Skyfall and Lincoln this weeked! If you like quantum mechanics and surfing then this episode is for you! |

Chris and Graham welcome stand-up comic and movie star Kevin Pollak! Kevin talks about his new podcast "The Kevin Pollak chat show," and the difference of coming from traditional to new media. Graham was so-so on Seven Psychopaths. Chris was about the same for For Ellen. Then Kevin talks about doing a 2 hour interview on the Chat Show and how becoming an actor hurt him a little as a comic. Then he gives excerpts from his new book "How I Slept My Way to the Middle". Crazy funny showbiz stories that will blow your mind. A couple of ok DVD choices and Cloud Atlas opens this weekend!
