Chrisam (short for Chris and Graham) are glad to have Neil T. Weakley back in the Nerd HQ for a sound discussion of Cult films. Neil goes into what makes a cult films. Then all three lads are off to the races about how some cult films start out with bad box office then get some kind of loyal following that builds. Also there are the really horrible movies that gain cult stauts because they are great fun to get drunk and yell at. All this is covered in this week's themed episode. |

It's a Never Not Funny episode of CFN with Jimmy Pardo. Chris and Graham welcome back the podcaster who was impressed with Tom Cruise but not at all with Rock of Ages. Chirs and Jimmy talk musicals. Graham felt that Your Sister's Sister is what a rom-com should be. Jimmy reveals that his favoirte film is Breaking Away and why you should watch all the disaster films of the 70's before you watch Airplane. Chris and Graham welcome The Longshot Podcast co-host Sean Conroy into the Nerd HQ. Sean talks about doing a podcast with Eddie Pepitone and how he made fun of Graham when they first met. Then all three share their thoughts of disappointment about Prometheus, with Chris a little more in favor of the film. Sean was just so-so about Lola Versus but loves going to the Hollwood Bowl for a Sound of Music sing-a-long. All three lads tell stories of their first ever films they made as kids. One out of three new DVDs are worth watching and a bag of shit is opeing this weekend. Live long and prosper, Nerds! |

Chris and Graham welcome comic and author Sean Cullen into the nerd HQ. Sean talks about why he liked certain aspects of Snow White and the Huntsman, but was confused about some of the hunting techniques. Chris liked the French film, The Intouchables. Graham enjoyed Moonrise Kingdom and all three lads had a good discussion about Wes Anderson and Blade Runner. Sean gave us some insight about working on The Love Guru. Also discussed were the Joys and Pleasures of Santa Monica. A action packed list of new DVD's and it's Ridley Scott's new film Prometheus this weekend! Fun is had by all. |
