*FILMS DISCUSSED: INHERENT VICE, TOP 5, WILD, BIG EYES* Chris and Graham welcome Rich Sommer, who played Harry Crane on Mad Men.  Rich talks about what it was like making Mad Men and how Inherent Vice was funny at times but made no sense. Graham liked Wild. Chris was glad Tim Burton made Big Eyes.  Rich thought Top 5 was funny even when the serious acting fell short. Rich talks about why he loves board games and gets bullied into starting a boardgame podcast.  Not great DVDs but Christmas Day is filled with some solid films and Into the Woods. This episode will max out the Chirstolph Waltz accent intensity meter.

VINCENT, LIFE PARTNERS, OBVIOUS CHILD, BIRDMAN* Chris and Graham welcome first time guests and writers of Thrilling Adventure Hour, Ben Acker and Ben Blacker. Graham liked The Drop especially since he got upgraded. Chirs found Video Games:The Movie to be ok. Ben Acker liked St. Vincent. Ben Blacker like Life Partners and Obvious Child.  Then both Bens talk about their podcast and upcoming comic books.  This episode will make you do a spot on Italian accent.

*FILMS DISCUSSED: THE IMITATION GAME, THEORY OF EVERYTHING, HORRIBLE BOSSES 2, NIGHTBREED* Chris and Graham welcome first time guest Kevin Avery into the Nerd HQ.  Kevin liked The Imitation Game but suggests drinking a red bull before. Graham thought the lead actor in Theory of Everything is Oscar worthy.  Chris loves the Nightbreed director's cut.  Kevin confused himself by viewing Horrible Bosses 2.  Then Kevin talks about his new podcast with W. Kamau Bell and working on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.  This ep will keep your face smooth and soft!

Happy Thanksgivng! *SPOILER ALERT: KEY ELEMENTS OF FILM, INCLUDING ENDING WILL BE DISCUSSED* Chris and Graham welcome Murray Valeriano, from Road Stories Podcast, to talk about Interstellar.  Murray's wife, Marry Zophres, was the costume designer on the film and Murray gives us some insight about the making of.  All three loved the film and want to travel through a worm hole.

*FILMS DISCUSSED: HUNGER GAMES, NIGHTCRAWLER, INTERSTELLAR, FOXCATCHER, WHIPLASH* Chris and Graham travel to Road Stories HQ to talk films with Murray Valeriano.  Graham and Chris liked Moking Jay.  Murray liked Whiplash.  Graham thought Jake Gyllenhaal was great in Nightcrawler despite some minor flaws.  Foxcatcher should get Steve Carrell a Oscar nomination.  Murray gives some inside info for Interstellar.  So-so DVDs and one good film coming out this weekend.  This ep will make you travel through a worm hole.
