It's long time friend but first time guest Wayne Federman talking films in the nerd HQ! Wayne tells us what a "Federman and out" is and why he did not like Cloud Atlas. Graham liked Hitchcock, but didn't love it. Chris thought A Dark Truth was directed by a 4 year old. Then Wayne talks about some of the films he's been in like the new Maria Bamford special! Chris and Graham welcome back Fred Stoller into the Nerd HQ. Fred talks about the new film he wrote and starred in called, "Fred and Vinnie." Then Graham agrees with Mike Schmidt about Killing Me Softly. Fred and Graham both really liked Life of Pi. Chris liked Deadfall, despite a couple of missteps. Graham and Fred both enjoyed Silver Linings Playbook but weren't blown away. A couple of ok DVDs coming out and then buckle up for The Hobbit!! This is the episode that will make you bi-polar. |

Chris and Grahm are back with Mike Schmidt! Graham talks about doing shows Down Under and why Red Dawn was what you think it would be. Chris goes on a Twilight rampage. Mike thinks Killing Them Softly is a perfect film. Graham wants you to see Lincoln but be aready for some long Spielbergy scenes. Also Graham saw a good doc, Waiting for Surgarman, in Adelaide that is worth your time. Then more Dark Knight DVD talk and some ok looking films in the theaters this weekend. This show is better than a vegimite sandwhich. |

Welcome back Laura House! You light up the nerd cave with some hilarious talk about Skyfall. Graham liked it and Laura did as well but was a little put off by Javier Bardem's hair. Chris had a good time with his family at Wreck it Ralph. And Graham liked Flight a little mroe than Laura. Some Ok DVDs this week. And of course its Twilight the final part of the epic endiing finale that is the second part of the conclusion. Also Silver Linings Playbook looks good. This is some good ol nerdery for your ears! |

Feel the fun with Dean Haglund! Dean talks about his interview with Tom Hanks and Halle Berry that is on the CFN youtube page. And then a nice nerdy discussion about Cloud Atlas. All three really enjoyed the film and suggest that you see it well-rested. Then Graham goes into how they should of used the actual story about who discovered Mavericks rather than the Hollywood silliness of Chasing Mavericks. And the boys are a little hopeful that Disney will bring Star Wars back to its former glory. Chris, Graham and Dean are all fired up for Skyfall and Lincoln this weeked! Gary talks about working with Blue Collar comic Bill Engvall and working in Vegas. Chris was a little let-down by Looper. Gary and Graham want End of Watch to use a tri-pod and just tell a story. Chris is a fan of the limited release film Solomon Kane. Graham was creeped out, in a good way, by The Master and thinks you should watch it. Gary tells why he likes dramas over comedies. Chris was just so-so on Savages. Graham and Erik both liked Ted. Chris' was glad to see Brave was better than Cars 2 but not as good as Up. Graham gives a good recommendation to Safety Not Guaranteed. A good DVD pick is out and a great weekend to stay home and rest up for Dark Knight Rises.
